Wearable Devices launches Mudra Band neural interface to touchlessly control Apple devices

Wearable Devices is shipping its Mudra Band, a neural interface wristband that lets you control Apple devices with a flick of the wrist.

Seamlessly connecting to a user’s Apple ecosystem, including iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, and Mac computers via Bluetooth, the device harnesses Surface Nerve Conductance (SNC) sensors. The 6DoF technology empowers the Mudra Band to recognize a user’s intricate finger movements, introducing an unprecedented level of control with six degrees of freedom in three perpendicular axes, adding forward and backward gestures to its arsenal. The Mudra Band’s release marks a significant milestone in the extended reality (XR) industry, embodying the fusion of human intention and digital response, the company said.
