Weavix, a startup developing ‘smart’ radios for frontline workers, raises $23.6M

Weavix, a company selling smart radios designed for frontline workers, has raised over $20 million in a venture funding round.

At least, that’s according to Kevin Turpin, the co-founder and CEO of Weavix, a startup that sells radios and software aimed at helping companies manage and communicate with their frontline workforces. “Failing to equip each worker with an electronic device represents a missed opportunity for the organization to gather vital data and overcome serious communication barriers.” But on the customer momentum front, Weavix appears to be doing well for itself — the company has “multiple” Fortune 500 clients in manufacturing, food and beverage production, commercial construction and energy and hospitality industries, according to Turpin.
