Welsh publisher brings Tolkien classic in Celtic languages together

Sharing the news of the books being available to purchase from Welsh publishing house, Melin Bapur, its founder and Editor, Adam Pearce wrote on social media: “One Hobyd not enough? Image: Melin Bapur BooksThe original English version of The Hobbit uses Anglo-Saxon runes to represent the written language of the Dwarves. In Yr Hobyd these have been replaced by the 18 th century Welsh Coelbren y Beirdd, widely believed to have been invented by Iolo Morgannwg, originator of many of the traditions around the Eisteddfod.
