What Apple pulling UK Advanced Data Protection means for you


The tech giant's decision has prompted questions and concerns about reduced protections for UK iCloud users.

Digital rights group the Electronic Frontier Foundation said, external that if Apple had complied with the request, it would have created a backdoor not just for UK users "but for people around the world, regardless of where they were or what citizenship they had".
