What to read this weekend: Warm Fusion brings biotech and body horror to a gritty NYC of the future
This week, we picked up Beartooth by Callan Wink and Warm Fusion, a new series for DSTLRY by Scott Hoffman and Alberto Ponticelli.
The story follows detective Jarrod Hannover and escort Vin Young (aka Snow White) on an investigation into a series of strange and brutal killings targeting brothel workers. At the same time, we’re introduced to the immediately suspicious Nicholas Fleischer, a scientist working on an experimental treatment called Warm Fusion that appears to spur the growth of new limbs where they were previously absent. A charity games bundle that's supporting wildfire relief efforts in Southern California includes hundreds of titles, such as Tunic, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Hidden Folks and SkateBird.
