Now that COVID restrictions are no longer in place, it appears that restaurant chains such as Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and Barista have abandoned Dotpe's QR code services. In a world where everyone is putting up hard walls around their online spaces, it is refreshing to see a no fucks given platform give unbridled access to randos like me. Next time you're at a restaurant that makes you scan a QR code and enter your mobile number to order, I want you to remember that random strangers on the internet are looking over your shoulder and watching what you're eating.
