What is new in Emacs 30.1? I go through every change in the NEWS file and talk about the most interesting and useful changes.
Provided you’ve done the installation steps (I recommend you check out the the link if the example below does not work) you can use a snippet like this in a Bookmarklet in your browser – or straight into the console for testing: Tramp added native docker support a version or two ago, which is super handy for editing or viewing stuff inside a container from the comfort of your own Emacs. It does not seem to be used in many places yet, but I foresee that it will play an important role in tools that want to provide in-buffer tracking of changes without the tears of having to build all this infrastructure from scratch.
