While Waiting review
Can a game make not doing much truly sing? The answer's fascinating.
This is a continuum I had not really considered until I played While Waiting, but the results are easy to interpret and quietly uncanny, which feels like a perfect fit for the task at hand. Even as I type this, though, I realise that pushing your way through a crowd on New Year's Eve is not one of the easiest things to accomplish anyway, so maybe the interaction is expressive. To put it slightly differently, it's about the way I look up from the window or the laptop screen one day and notice that my daughter is almost as tall as me.
