Why Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen is confident we’ll all adapt to AI

The tech hallucinates. Users don’t check how images were made. But he’s confident we’ll adapt.

Shantanu’s been at the top of my list of people I’ve wanted to talk to for the show since we first launched — he’s led Adobe for nearly 17 years now, but he doesn’t do too many wide-ranging interviews. So, I think it’s going to be tremendously additive in terms of the number of people who now say, “Wow, it has further democratized the ability for us to tell that story,” and so, on the creative side, whether you’re ideating, whether you’re trying to take some picture and fix it but you don’t quite know how to do it. You can feel that it’s being overrun by low-quality SEO spam or AI content, or it’s mostly e-commerce sites because you can avoid some transaction fees if you can get people to go to a website.
