Why the ‘spirit’ of open source means much more than a license
Arguments about what is and isn't open source can be resolved by deferring to the OSI's definition -- but there is much more to it than that.
It can also raise questions about a project’s long-term viability, evidenced by the countless open source companies that have switched licenses to protect their commercial interests.
