It may seem unthinkable, but the Nintendo Switch 2 could fall short of expectations

That apathy will only rear its head once again with the inevitable launch of the PS6 and the new Xbox console, and it’s something Sony and Microsoft will have to address in the years ahead if they want to succeed. Thankfully, Nintendo isn’t afraid to experiment, and the company’s president Shuntaro Furukawa recently told shareholders that the Switch 2 will stand out from the competition. Sony and Microsoft took a different approach, and while it may have seemed astute at the time to ensure millions of players could play newer titles, it led many to believe they didn’t need to bother upgrading to the latest system.
