Windows Mail will stop working on December 31, 2024
The old Windows Mail, Calendar, and People apps are about to go six feet under. Microsoft has acknowledged that the apps will stop working in a few weeks.
Microsoft recently updated the official documentation to clarify that with the end of support, the apps will stop working altogether on December 31, 2024. Until recently, the document only mentioned the end of support without an explicit explanation of how it would affect the apps' core features. In reality, though, the new Outlook is universally hated for being a slow web app, lacking features, and providing an overall bad user experience.
