Frank Herbert’s seminal sci-fi classic has been enjoyed by a brand new audience but now it’s time to focus on Funcom’s re-imagined Dune world, where religion is less prominent and where Paul Atreides was never born. Funcom’s new MMO veers off from Herbert’s storyline when the alternate timeline that Jessica Atreides creates by choosing to give birth to a daughter instead of Paul, begins a cascading chain of events. Having spent time as Head of Communications at a professional sports club and working for high-profile charities such as the National Literacy Trust, he returned as Managing Editor in charge of large US-based technology websites in 2020.
