Starting with Word for Windows version 2509, Microsoft is making cloud saving the default behavior. From the report:"Anything new you create will be saved automatically to OneDrive or your preferred cloud destination", writes Raul Munoz, product manager at Microsoft on the Office Shared Services and Experiences team. While cloud saving is without doubt beneficial in some cases, Munoz fails to address the elephant in the room.
