John Blackbourn, the WordPress core security team lead, said that Automattic had breached the Intigriti Code of Conduct by " irresponsibly announcing" the vulnerability publicly. The fields API project on GitHub has been archived with a goodbye notice that states that it pains him to stop but that he is " done making excuses for Matt's actions and will not associate myself with core any longer".
