Wyze security cameras are coming back online after an outage cut off access
If you have Wyze cameras, your device may be offline.
Wyze owners with security cameras, dashcams, and other smart home devices are reporting this morning that they can’t access them and that its apps are returning error messages. Wyze didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment or details on what’s causing the problem, but an update in its customer service forum indicates the company is aware and looking into it, as of 9:31AM ET. In that instance, users said their own devices disappeared and were replaced by someone else’s — including feeds that showed the inside of strangers’ homes.
