Mastodon, the decentralized alternative to X, is rolling out refreshed notifications, new discovery tools and an updated look.
While Mastodon’s private mentions aren’t as protected as X’s Direct Messages, this will still offer more high-profile users who receive a lot of inbounds a better way to filter out unwanted requests. In terms of the future, Mastodon plans to introduce highly requested features like quote posts and the ability for server operators to subscribe to managed blocklists.
