Xiaomi EV says SU7 Ultra prototype becomes fastest 4-door car at Nürburgring

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype completed its challenge at the Nürburgring with a lap time of 6:46.874, making it the fastest four-door car on the track, according to Xiaomi EV.

Xiaomi founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun unveiled the SU7 Ultra prototype during his annual speech on July 19, saying it is based on the SU7 and built for performance and the track. In January, Xiaomi EV booked the Nürburgring for two days, October 9-10, but was unable to complete the test as planned due to rain. The production version of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which will be officially launched in the first half of 2025, will feature the same chassis structure, triple motors, and battery pack as the prototype, Lei said in a live video on July 23.
