The sheer fact that the company skipped the Xiaomi 16 Pro altogether and went from number 15 to 17 shows that Xiaomi's ambitions are to compete with Apple's iPhone 17. Xiaomi's official Weibo account recently posted a teaser video showing the Xiaomi 17 Pro from the back, and it has a big camera bump with a dual camera system...and a secondary display. Judging by what is shown in the video, the rear display is in full color and high definition, and could be used to display basic information such as the time, weather, but also to help you take better selfies.
