Years later, Spotify still says it's working on 'Super Premium' with lossless audio

Spotify, the largest music streaming service in the world, is still running into roadblocks that its competitors passed years ago. On an earnings call recapping the company's third-quarter 2024 financial results, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek reaffirmed that lossless audio is still coming, but didn't provide an exact timeline. Spotify stock trended upward following the earning's call and financial release, but the Super Premium tier remains a question mark for the company.
