Your Gmail just got a useful new tool for tracking online purchases
The purchases tab will house shipping updates, order receipts, and more.
Google said this tab will start going live Thursday for both mobile and web users. If you generally avoid this tab because it's nothing but marketing emails, Google is giving you a reason to check it out. You'll soon be able to sort promotions by most relevant, Google explained, meaning you'll see messages first from the senders and brands you interact with.
