YouTube gets crafty with a 'hidden' skip button for ads, but it's not all bad


This seems like a minor change amid the larger scope of what YouTube's recently done with ads.

YouTube has reportedly started "hiding" the skip button during the initial ad for a video on mobile devices. The change on mobile devices shows a full bar for the ad's supposed "duration," which is likely just the portion users must see.
