Nintendo may have had the might to take down one of the two main players in the Switch emulation scene, the one that was openly profiteering around the launch of Tears of the Kingdom, the other, Ryujinx, at least for now has seemingly been left alone, although this could change any at any moment, but does it really matter? The bigger issue would be if the Switch 2 architecture and copy protection is similar enough that only a few tweaks to an emulator by a talented dev would be needed to open up that entire library before it has even been conceived.
